The Dacusville Lions Club is a group
of men and women who are part of the Lions International
Organization. We enjoy fellowship, develop leadership and dedicate
part of our time to help those in need in the Dacusville community.
The Club meets the
2nd and 4th Monday at 6:00 pm of each month at its Lions Building. Anyone interested in
attending, just show up.
One of our major fund
raising events are selling fireworks on the week of the 4th of July and
the week between Christmas and New Years. The money raised is used to buy glasses
for people who can not afford them. We sponsor a monetary donation
to the Dacusville Elementary and Middle Schools for the Teacher and
Staff Person of the Year. We also support other needs of the community.
Another benefit to the community is
the rental of our Lions Building to the general public. Anyone
interested in using the building, should contact Mrs. Jane Handley at
836-0750.
